一、細胞膜蛋白質在腫瘤生成及化療抗藥性的相關研究

細胞的膜蛋白質可引發細胞內的訊息傳遞,調控細胞的增殖、分化和存活。不正常的膜蛋白質表現和活化常導致各式腫瘤,包括乳癌、卵巢癌、肺癌及頭頸癌,並對化學藥物治療的抗藥性有相當之關聯性。本研究室有興趣於不同細胞膜蛋白質參與腫瘤生成的分子機制,所研究的膜蛋白質包括上皮細胞因子接受體 (Epidermal growth factor receptor, EGFR)E-鈣黏著蛋白質(E-cadherin)ABC轉運蛋白(ATP-binding cassette transporter, ABC transporter),由此等基礎研究進而發展出新穎奈米藥物及相關癌症治療方法。

二、建立核酸適體的篩選平台

適體 (aptamer) 是可辨識各種不同分子的短鍊核酸,它是項新興技術有望取代抗體成為檢測試劑及藥物開發的下一個發展趨勢,透過開發前胰島素原的C-胜肽 (C-peptide) 的檢驗試劑,建立核酸適體的篩選平台,可進一步提供檢驗試劑的客製化開發服務。
